While intriguing enough to hold my attention throughout the mystery and unique plot-line, it didn't completely blow me away. In fact, it's rather forgettable because it just wasn't that big of a "wow factor" for me at least. At times, I felt the action was too quick, and the characterization too lacking. By the end, I still didn't feel like I knew the main characters as well as I should have. It was a quick, entertaining and enjoyable read, nonetheless. I probably would have liked this much better back in high school. I might continue on with the series out of curiosity. I do like the mystery, entertainment, and spin on things that the author provides for the reader. As I said, it wasn't bad at all. A good read, especially if you like this genre.
