It's been a few months since I read this, but I never got around to posting my review until now. Here's the sad thing: I don't remember too much of it at this point now other than the fact that I wasn't "wowed" by it. In fact, a bit bored at times.I had high hopes for Beautiful Creatures. It had rave reviews (one in particular from one of my favorite authors even), but I just couldn't get captured by it. The characters fell flat for me. I was intrigued by the unique male POV for a change, though, so I do give props there- and the storyline did hold some promise. It wasn't a timewaster, but not something I'd shelve as a must-read or recommendation.Who knows, though? I may pick it up again later in the year or early next year and my opinion may change entirely with a re-read. Otherwise, for the time being, this was just an average read for me.
